The line of patients waiting at noon in Morijo

Dr. Williams gets the assistance of several Maasi women in steadying a young infant.

Medicines are much needed in this part of Kenya.  The World Health Organization estimates that there are only 2.2 dentists per 100,000 population in Kenya. The Morijo area has no local dentists.

Dr. Huber sits waiting for the first patient of the day with Nicole, Wendy and Tony  in the medical clinic. This building was built this year with funds donated to the community by Kenya Medical Outreach.

Not much table space in the new building so Debbie keeps track of the order of patients slips by writing her notes on the wooden bench.

More people waiting their turn to see the doctors and nurses

The assistance of Francis Kippai in translation was a huge help for Joseph and Lisa as they ministered to the sick and elderly.

Sheila kept things organized, interfaced with the team to keep things smooth, and kept the dental unit functioning during surgery.

The 10/40 Window is an area stretching from 10° to 40° north of the equator from West Africa to East Asia. Did you know that 90 percent of all unreached people groups live in this region of the world? The 10/40 Window is identified as having less than 2 percent of their populations as evangelical Christians.
